Delicious smells, fantastic food and friendly competition sum up the Wilburton Main Street Design Teams’ fundraiser Twenty Men Who Cook.
A special thank you to each of our cooks: Bill Montana, Calvin Gilreath, Jeremy Bullard, Wade Thomson, Jerod Rose, CC Puckett, Andrew Hawthorne, Blake Thomson, Brecken Wagner, Dakota Cook, Glenn Cook, Cody James, Dan Miller, Tony Johnson, Jason Conley, David Nix, Rocky Tomlin, Todd Baughman, Nick Chatley, Tom Wartick, Ronnie Woodruff, and Floyd Davis. The Design Committee of Wilburton Main Street, Inc. would like to express our appreciation to you for donating your time, food and talents to our Twenty Men Who Cook event. Over $1,200 was raised toward our Façade Grant Program, all due to the willingness of volunteers like you.

A special thank you to Talbots Flowers for the beautiful centerpieces, Eastern Oklahoma State College for donating the facility, Wilburton students with the #DiggerForward program for assisting with labeling cups and setting up, and the YAB student who assisted with drinks the night of the event! We also want to recognize Danel Walker for being the photographer and capturing this wonderful event.
The money raised at the event will fund the Design Team’s Façade Grant program to allow business owners on Main Street to apply for funding to assist with needed awnings, paint or window treatments.
