Wilburton Main Street, Inc. is hosting their fourth Cash Mob event this week! This time, they are changing things up and holding the Cash Mob on Friday afternoon so that more folks can attend. The event will be held at The Ornery Okie, at 116 E. Main on Friday, August 11 from 4-6pm. Everyone who attends and spends will be entered into a drawing to win $50 in Main Street Bucks and will receive a free gift for coming out to be a part of the Cash Mob.
The idea behind a Cash Mob is to create an immediate economic stimulus for a small business by flooding it with customers who spend in their establishment. Not only does a cash mob help local small businesses financially, but it helps create new customers, gets folks into the stores to see what’s available and brings the community together.
The Ornery Okie has something for everyone, without a doubt. You can find home decor, antiques, collectibles, quirky gifts, clothes and so much more.
